This is a wonderful set of strings. It has a great range of dynamics and the tones are very pleasing. I truly cannot stop playing them! They stabilized quite quickly. I cannot express how lovely these strings sound! A great buy!

Congratulations on a superb gut violin string! They do stay in tune pretty well for gut, and played in very quickly. I have had them on for 2-3 months now. I LOVE their sound. The overtones are beautiful and rich. These strings are just gorgeous. They blow every synthetic (yes, even Pirastro's, as fine as many of them are!) out of the water. These are my strings of choice for my violin, a beautiful 2006 violin that has a big, cathedral-filling sound and soaring high notes. Passione strings just make it sound even better! I hope these strings, or a similar approach in gut, will be applied to viola (especially viola, my other instrument!) and cello strings. A string quartet, much less a whole orchestra playing these strings would just shine!

I have waited until now to comment on these strings as I wanted to leave them on my 1820 George Panormo violin for at least a month before offering any observations back to you. My congratulations to you and Pirastro on these new strings, which I think are remarkable. Modulation of dynamics is the best of any strings I have used in many years. I got a set of new Pirastro violin Passione, which I have been playing for the last 10 days. I am always a fan of Gut string, but because playing in the orchestra (I have been playing in few major orchestras in the US) we can't tune in the middle of performances, so I was forced to switch to 'the other kind'. But this New Passione is different because the stability and gorgeous sound, it really makes me happy and excited that I can use the gut string again. It gives me the sound and the touch just the way I wanted on my 1792 J.B. Ceruti which I just couldn't stop playing it with the Passione.
I am sure that there would be lots of players like me will start using it. Thank you for your striving efforts. Bravo Pirastro!

I have played on many different strings over the years, and the Evah Pirazzis are unquestionably superior by far to any other string on the market. I have to write and say that you make the best strings, bar none.
The EVAH PIRAZZI are unbelievable! They resonate beautifully and have such a sweet and silvery sound. And they are wonderfully stable as well.
I have a set that I played on for six months (every day for 6 months). Took them off for violin repair. Hated the strings the luthier put on. Being short of strings, I put back on the same 6 month old PIRAZZIs and they sounded better than the other new strings. Then bought a new set of PIRAZZIs and put the 6 month old strings on another old beat up violin and they still sound good. And they didn't break.
Unbelievable!
Needless to say, as long as you keep making them, I'll keep buying them!

As my luthier knows, I am not devoted to any particular brand of strings although I do avoid certain sets. He asked me if I had ever tried "OBLIGATO". I hat not and thought I would take the gamble. Mein Gott, I am glad I did! I installed them 5 days before the concert and simply could not believe it. My instrument has never sounded better.
I have become accustomed to people inquiring about my intrument, but after the first rehearsal, half of the orchestra wanted to know what I was playing on. Needless to say, I am sticking with "OBLIGATO".

I find the Violinos to be the best overall strings that I have used and I have tried about a dozen types. They seem well suited to my violine whijch is a nice student level instrument.
The overall sound is non-metallic. The Violinos have a pure tone, although rather soft and not too bright. I am not after volume in fact I prefer a quiet sound, which is well balanced and even, very pleasing to the ear.
I woul say, that the Violinos have improved the sound by far. I am happy and cannot really imagine that any other string could be better for this violin.
I cannot thank you enough, I have already purchased another set and I will continue to buy these strings and to think and speek highly of Pirastro.
