Jeffrey Beecher principal bass at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) launched several virtual projects together with his colleagues on the TSO facebook page @torontosymphonyorchestra. Have a look to the virtual performance of Sergei Prokofiev's beloved symphonic fairy tale “Penelope and the Wolf” with Jeffrey Beecher as the wolf. Or watch the TSO how social distancing but still playing together works when they recorded the calming melody of the excerpt of Aaron Copland's Appalachian Spring to life inspired by the traditional Shaker song, Simple Gifts.

Leon Bosch presented his new CD “Bass-ically Brilliant”, seven duos for cello and double bass performed by Leon Bosch and cellist Peter Martens. His commitment to educating the next generation continues unabated, albeit online for now. For more info visit this website.

Lorraine Campet is bringing the joy of music to the world with some “Live from Home” concerts on her Youtube channel.

Gjorgji Cincievski presents a world premiere recording for double bass and organ, with Pirastro strings in dAEB tuning on his double bass, transcribed from J.S.Bach's masterful work "Adagio" from his Toccata and Fugue in C Major BWV 564. The video named “PRAYER” is dedicated to all the people affected by this virus COVID-19. On July 3rd he will be part of the “Chamber Fridays Concert Series” at Malta Philharmonic Orchestra to be watched on their Youtube channel.
